Some of my folks hooked me up with an awesome Christmas gift. I’m a lucky guy to work with the people I get to work with.

Ah, the Golden Nectar of the Gods!
Best time I had with that scotch was a late fall campfire, around 40F outside, listening to Miles Davis’ “All Blues” on a Sony stereo, and sipping that scotch with a friend. Between the warmth of that scotch on the way down, and the campfire, we didn’t realize it was so chilly out that night.

Expensive bottle of scotch? There’s only one thing to do.

Too much peat, right? I mean, I can’t be the ONLY one who thinks Lagavulin is waaaaay too peaty, can I?
(Seriously, I’m sticking to Highlands and Speyside ONLY when I drink single malt.)

You are indeed a lucky guy, and some of your folks are pretty flippin’ awesome. None of MY co-workers gave me a bottle of single-malt Highland scotch. Pfft.
Oh wait, I’m a public school teacher.

I will have to get a better picture tomorrow, but that shelf has a KLM 747, Delta 777, Delta MD-11, Douglas paint MD-11 and an Airbus A350.
